The entire area consists of 18 acres of woodland, with a lake, the building and a large car park.
It has been identified that the woodland needs a tremoundous amount of loving care.  There are numerous dead and dying trees, an abnormal number of rhododendron bushes, rubbish and decaying plants in the lake etc.  Part of the community initiative would be to care for this woodland.  Apart from the huge job of tidying it up, whilst maintaining its character, the following are a few of  the ideas that have been postulated for it:

Introduce Birds of Prey Create an allotment Keep chickens Sort out the land boundaries  (hedging with willow and hazel) Construct a bread oven

Create Tree top walks Forestry Management (with use of horses posibly) Keep Bees Create an outside dining area

The above ideas merely are the tip of the iceburg but in themselves would create an challenge for the local community to get involved and work together in a spirit of harmony and fun on such a brilliant and worthwhile project.
