Status Cymbal is the String Quartet with a difference.

Not only do Status Cymbal play works from a wide repertoire of composers for the medium, they also have their own unique library of all kinds of popular music from Opera through Swing & Jazz to the greatest Musicals, Pop Hits & Rock Classics. They are equally at home playing numbers by Brahms and Bizet as by Eric Clapton, REM or The Village People.

A typical performance opens with the first half presented in formal concert attire featuring works for the genre by the great classical masters. During the interval, the members slip into something more comfortable to play music from their extensive repertoire of arrangements in a more popular vein. These "second half" performances are often presented along themed lines such as "The 20th Century Remembered" featuring tunes from every decade, "Gershwin & Friends", "Favourite Film & TV Hits" or "The Swinging Sixties".

Status Cymbal are available for concerts, corporate & private functions, hotels, restaurants, cruise liners, T V and Radio, Stately Homes, Livery & Banqueting Halls, Arts Festivals etc.
