BUNCO BOOTHS |
Malcolm is (purely for the
purposes of entertainment) a pretty accomplished “con” man!
In a development of his close-up magic repertoire, he performs
“classic”swindles such as the “Three Card Monte/Find the Lady”, the
famously un-winable “endless loop” game and other gambling “scams” all
accompanied by humorous, “tall” tales which “explain” how it all works
– and why you should never play games of chance with strange men of
street corners! All done with a smile and a wink, no money
ever changes hands and everyone breathes a huge smile of relief at the
entertainment that ensues. In this guise, Malcolm has entertained at student and black tie balls, for corporate promotions, in shopping centres and at private parties. It is an ideal activity as a change from “traditional” magic – yet still contains all the right elements of humour and mystery. Malcolm can even provide his own “Bunco Booth” as a kind of sideshow where the entertainment can be based. |

"What is a Bunco
Booth?". The Answer is quite simple. It is a place where you are led to believe that you can make a huge profit, by betting on the simplest games as you follow "The Money Card". Of course you never actually find it, no matter how slow the dealer goes. You get conned, cheated, scammed and suckered, but with any of our Bunco Booth magiciansyou get an unforgettable experience that costs you nothing. Play games such as The Three Card Monte and The Shell and Pea. |

Card Sharp Cowboy & Bunco
Booth Performing as a strolling entertainer, at a table, or at
his bunco booth, the “Cowboy Card Sharp” will fleece your guests. From poker, to chase the lady and the three shell game, classics of Oxford Street swindlers, watch out for sleight of hand, misdirection and downright deception. Known in card cheating jargon as a 'mechanic', don’t play cards with this man!” Alternatively, our third magician offers his Bunco Booth in the style of the Victorian/Edwardian street hustler. Similar "cons" - different presentation. |
